Some copies are bound in wool cloth over boards. Copies 31-150 are quarter-bound in black leather and green commercial paper. Title and ornaments printed on cover. Some copies are quarter-bound in teal green or grey book cloth. Paper: Copies 1-30 are printed on white paper handmade by Peter Thomas. Copies 31-150 are printed on ivory Wausau Exact Vellum paper. “The text is a fairy tale I wrote. This was our first book. The handmade paper was all made at the Renaissance Pleasure Faire. I had planned to print it in brown ink and I can still hear Sherwood Grover, the Grabhorn pressman who was teaching at the Cowell Press, saying, ‘Don’t do that. The type is bad enough as it is.’”
