“The text is a fairy tale I wrote. This book was printed while demonstrating at the Festival of the American West in Utah. They provided me with a rusty table top C&P and a stray case of type. The rollers had been chewed by mice so each pull had to be hand inked with a brayer. I needed a smaller type for the colophon and a local printer volunteered to help out, bringing me some linotype slugs the next day. He just dropped them off and I never found out what type face was used.”
