“The text consists of twenty-five sonnets. This was a commissioned book. Brother Thomas actually came down to our home in Santa Cruz to help make the paper. This was before I bought a good papermaker’s mould from Tim Moore, and, held to the light, the paper shows a watermark of the plastic grating used to support the screen of my handmade mould.”
