This book, created for the Seventieth Grove Play of the Bohemian Club, an annual theatrical production in California, marks an interesting change in printing from Kennedy’s typical creative production. This may perhaps be due to the fact that the publication was a collaboration between Lawton Kennedy and his son Alfred, and that the book was designed and illustrated by Ronald Rampley.  Printed by both Lawton and Alfred Kennedy in 1975, there are noticeable differences in the typography and printing compared to Lawton’s style, which was notorious for its modernist take on the English revival tradition.
