"This book is a pictorial essay of our trip to Ireland. The idea came on my trip home from Wales. The first title was to be, ‘To Market to Market' as I envisioned finding the cattle and horses standing in the street during the market days. I soon discovered this was not to be found any more. The large farm animals are auctioned off inside the auction houses. Only calves, piglets and lambs are sold in the regular open markets. The exchange of ownership happens so fast the animals feet never touch the ground.
"A person traveling in Ireland can hit a market day every day by careful planning."
