The Shift To Curbside
“I used to enjoy eating at El Beso restaurant because of the fun and lively environment. Now the experience of eating and ordering out is obviously different.”

“The new normal” has mean that curbside pick up or take out has become the primary means by which patrons interact with bars and restaurants. But other restaurants, in the light of the shortage of essential supplies, have converted into makeshift grocery stores, like Don’s Diner. Additionally, popular Mexican restaurant chain Bel Air offers toilet tissue as an option on their takeout menu. For Bars, the situation is rather more difficult. However, Breweries have begun to adapt – for example, Lakefront Brewery has offered 6-packs of beer for reasonable prices, and Who’s On Third offered discounts on alcohol to patrons who brought their own growlers to be filled.
