Getting closer with nature and the sense of going outside was a common theme during Covid. In this image I was using a day with nicer weather to ride over to a local mountain bike trail and ride it a few times to get out and enjoy the weather. This was a trail that I had not explored before despite it being within 5 miles from my house, the house I have lived in since I was born. There were few others out on the trail that day with only a few hikers that I came into contact with simply passing for a brief moment. This idea of exploring local trails was common especially with this one where many locals who were new to riding mountain bikes were surprised to learn that there was a very accessible trail within a 5 minute drive from their house.
