Delivering Custard For Grandmother

This image features a leisure time delivery of Leon's Custard, a local custard stand in the south side of milwaukee. It is my grandmother’s favorite custard and favorite flavor so we were able to enjoy it together with me dropping it off on her patio table and for us to enjoy them together from a distance. This was a treat both in the traditional sense of enjoying a sweet food but also to spend time with my grandmother who I hadn't seen for many months before this. This was a common occurrence with many of the older more vulnerable populations only being able to interact with their families from a distance. While this situation is not ideal for either party it was a good distraction from the rest of the normalcy of Covid.
