Staycation with the Barns

Bike rides on a local vacation

This image was taken on a staycation trip to Door County. Many people were forced to change plans to accommodate the changing travel plans and restrictions that were in place and limit the amount of people that they travel and interact with. This was taken in the middle of some farm roads on a two person bike ride, set to explore the roads that normally would be driven in a car on the way to and from different touristy cities and parks and wouldn't be enjoyed as much as a bike allows you to do. This sense of exploring areas that you normally miss on traditional trips or in your local areas was a theme throughout the pandemic with the changing travel rules and this was an example of this. Something as mundane as a few barns could be interpreted to be exciting tourist attractions due to them not being based around a computer screen or within an essential business near a person's home.
