Description

Even with everything that has been going on with the pandemic there are some positives that have been found and appreciated in the chaos. Did you know that there is a program through the National Park System that gives a free National Park Pass to Fourth graders and their families for an entire year? The program is entitled Every Kid Outdoors. For Jess and her family this was one of those bright points during this turbulent year. With their family pass they were able to visit 10 National Parks as well as Pikes Peak, Garden of the Gods and the Great Salt Lake. It was a fun and educational trip that allowed them to spend time as a family learning, exploring while keeping a socially distanced from other visitors enjoying the parks. Even with school moving to virtual this pass gave the whole family the opportunity to experience new parts of the country while being responsible.
