When the pandemic's spread started to become clearer, Americans were deluged with public health messages about handwashing. The basic message was to wash hands the way medical professionals do--for about 20 seconds, or about the amount of time it takes to sing happy birthday or the alphabet song. I decided it would be a good time to relearn the Greek alphabet, so I posted this PDF in the women's restroom on the 3rd floor of UWM's Holton Hall. I had forgotten doing this until this photo popped up in my Facebook memories this morning. The day I posted this flyer was probably the last day I was at UWM for months, because the shutdown came just a few days later.
