Title

Emma Carlin MTB Trail Ride

Description

This picture was taken halfway through a ride on one of the loops of the Emma Carlin bike trail. This trail is located in the southern unit of the Kettle Moraine Forest. This was overlooking the woods as a rest point to enjoy the view at sunset. This was my first time on the trail and I was again amazed at how amazing the trails we have in Wisconsin are and how we don't need to travel far to get access to them. Many people had a similar feeling experiencing trails and outdoor areas for the first time that they had lived around all their lives. Due to my lack of familiarity I did nearly take a fall but due to some still unknown situations I was able to jump off of my bike while it ended up tumbling down the hill and I stayed upright. This setback didn't stop me from stopping and I continued further down the trail finishing up the loop without issue.
