UWM Kenilworth Sign Up for Move Out

Despite things looking up with people finally being able to get vaccinated, precautions still need to take place with covid still proving an issue. With the semester ending, UWM’s Kenilworth apartments will have tons of students moving out to go home for the summer. In order to allow for social distancing so that a ton of students are not all moving out at once, students living in the apartment have had to sign up for their move out time slots using a sign-up genius website set up by housing. These time slots give students a two-hour window to move stuff out of their apartment units and into their cars before going down to the front desk to check out.

As a first-year graduate student who moved here from Indiana after attending another university for undergrad, I have not known any other way to move out. This same website was used for selecting move in times at the beginning of the school year as well with several regulations including how many people were allowed to come with you to move in.
