Veg Out

Last year, Veg Out was in May. It was a huge weekend for the station; this event on Sunday and Big Spring Show with The 1975 the night before.

It was the week before finals and I told my boss I could only work one day that weekend. I wanted to be put on The 1975, and really, I should've just asked for it because I got put on Veg Out only. And was the only intern to miss out on the concert.

I'm not even a vegetarian, but I was genuinely looking forward to this event. It's fun to work big events with all the interns and DJs together. Makes me feel connected.

The event was supposed to be on March 21st.
