Emo Nite

May 16th would've been my third Emo Nite at the Miramar. Really it's just a bunch of people in a dark room singing along to nostalgic jams, but I have so much fun dressing up and dancing around.

Sure, I can get basically the same thing for free in my room with a speaker and a Spotify playlist, but it's the collective joy that spreads through the room when "Sugar, We're Going Down" comes on and everyone sings the words off-key but with their whole chest that can't be replicated at home.
