Transfer Equivalency Database
The Transfer Equivalency Database (TED) assists students and staff in determining UWM transfer course equivalencies. The results are unofficial. All transfer coursework is subject to review and equivalency determination upon official submission to UWM. Enhanced transfer equivalency search options may be found by creating an account in Transferology.
Please note that equivalencies only exist for previously evaluated transfer courses. If a transfer institution or course does not appear in the selection options below, it means UWM has not yet evaluated that coursework to determine an equivalency, and an equivalency determination will be made when the transfer work is officially submitted.
Additionally, UWM’s new general education requirements for Fall 2026 have resulted in numerous changes in our transfer rules. Work to update rules is ongoing and some equivalencies listed in this database may not yet reflect whether or how a transfer course may apply to these new requirements. As courses are reevaluated, updated equivalencies will populate. Consult an academic advisor or contact the Registrar’s Office with any questions.
