Essay

In this exhibit I took pictures of old barns that are adjacent to my house along with other forms of nature that show my current surroundings. This exhibit is meaningful to me in two ways: I love taking pictures of nature and the barns are very significant to me because I grew up playing in or around a lot of them. I want to show the beautiful old barns and nature where I live while also showing how the Coronavirus pandemic has affected my life. The Coronavirus is the sole purpose why I am no longer in Milwaukee. I have been taking photos daily and editing the ones I find most intriguing. I know many college students have had to move home and now have a completely different life because of this pandemic.

I want my photo essay to also show that even though the world may be scary there are still beautiful things outside and to be thankful for.
