Diego Rotman

Diego Rotman (born in Buenos Aires) is a researcher, an interdisciplinary artist and a curator. He wrote his PhD thesis on Performance as Cultural Critique: On Dzigan & Shumacher’s Theater (1927-1980) and his MA thesis on Yiddish Theater in Israel (1948-1983) under the supervision of Prof. Galit Hasan-Rokem and Prof. Yechiel Scheintuch at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. He recently published The Stage as a Temporary Home - On Dzigan and Shumacher’s Theater (1927-1980). in Hebrew, with the Magnes University Press (Jerusalem, 2017).
