The edition has been designed by R. [Robert] L. Dothard and printed by him ... The text is printed in Original Old Style type. The shoulder-heads and initials and printed in vermilion ink. The paper is made completely of rags, a white sheet especially fabricated by the Worthy Paper Company. The binding is of boards covered with a matelassé brocade, the title being stamped in gold. Each copy is encased in a 'Cantelmo box' covered with a maroon cloth"--Publisher's announcement.
