"The penultimate volume, in this Fifteenth Series of the fine books made for the members of this Club ... The illustrations are drawings ... printed by photogravure in two impressions. The edition has been designed by R. [Robert] L. Dothard and printed by him ... The text is printed in Original Old Style type. The shoulder-heads and initials and printed in vermilion ink. The paper is made completely of rags, a white sheet especially fabricated by the Worthy Paper Company. The binding is of boards covered with a matelassé brocade, the title being stamped in gold. Each copy is encased in a 'Cantelmo box' covered with a maroon cloth"--Publisher's announcement.
"Made ... by E.L. Hildreth & Company in Brattleboro, Vermont. The illustrations have been drawn by Carlotta Petrina and printed by The Photogravure & Color Co. in New York"--Colophon.
