The edition is designed by Jan Van Krimpen, and printed under his supervision... The type used is Fleishman, for the first time in one of our books; and it is printed on a white rag paper made at the Pannekoek Mills and especially watermarked. The binding is of full Holland linen stamped with a design by the illustrator"-- Publisher's announcement.
"Printed... at the printing office of Joh. Enschedé en Zonen in Haarlem, Holland, the illustrations having been cut in wood by John Austen"-- Colophon.
