“Fifteen accordion folded pages tell the history of the ukulele in beautiful words and pictures. The lettering and illustrations were reproduced on a four-color digital web press from an original watercolor painted book by Donna Thomas. The covers are wood, left over pieces from ukuleles made by Tony Graziano, a Santa Cruz luthier. Each book has a matching ukulele somewhere in the world. The book slides into a leatherette paper sleeve, reminiscent of the traditional chipboard ukulele case.”
