The Chinese Christian Church of Milwaukee undertook renovation work when they purchased the church building from the Fourth Church of Christ, Scientist in 2000. This photo shows then-Pastor Andy Tso in the hallway directly outside the entrance to the sanctuary. CCCM found the church site in May of 2000 and completed the purchase in November of 2000; many months of renovation work on the historic building needed to be completed before the congregation could move in officially. In January of 2001 they held the inauguration ceremony and the first baby dedication ceremony. They held their first regular Sunday service in March of 2001 and have held weekly services since.
