The sonic postcard is a mix of sounds taking from the field recording from the tour of famous Milwaukee architects given at Forest Home and the oral history spoken by Paul Haubrich. The postcard begins with ambient noises of nature and foot steps taken from the tour field recording and transitions to Paul and the tour guide Cydni explaining how Forest Home functioned as Milwaukee's first public park where people gathered on weekends. Next, is the Chapel and how it provided a location for people to hold funeral services on the cemetery grounds. What follows is the crematory and how it served as a gathering place. After discussing the crematory, Paul discusses how the Forest Home Chapel remains a gathering place in the late 20th century and into the 21st century.
