This image shows a plastic shield across the Outpatient therapy reception desk at St. Luke's hospital in Milwaukee. This was put there as part of the hospital's new procedures regarding the pandemic to provide protection for the receptionist from patient air droplets. It is similar to the barriers at the MRI reception, and other reception areas around the hospital, but this was far more striking to my routine than a lot of the other objects. The Outpatient Therapy never has that many people there at once, so I have struck up a friendship with the receptionist over the years.
