7th grader mask

Title
7th grader mask
Description
I found this photo in my Facebook Memories this morning. Here is the text of the post I wrote to go with it: "My daughter made a mask for one of her friends who is nervous about the corona virus. Compassion, pandemic-style."
She actually made about half a dozen masks for her worried friends but didn't get a chance to hand them out. Schools shut down two days later. We thought it would be for a few weeks. A year later, her school building is reopening to most students for the first time this week. 75% of families in the district opted to send their children back to the building, but she continues to learn virtually. By the time she goes back to school in September, it will have been a year and a half away.
