Local municipalities in SE Wisconsin usually set Trick or Treating hours on the Sunday afternoon before Halloween. This year, they all declined to set official hours--inviting complaints about "canceling" Halloween. My kids are too big now, but when they were younger Halloween was the most important holiday of the year for them. I didn't want to disappointed neighborhood children, so we set out this candy just in case. No one came to take any.
