UW-Milwaukee Covid-19 Student Health Training

I am a second year graduate student at UWM. Fall 2020 classes begin one week from today. I, like many other students, are nervous for this semester. Socially distance learning and virtual learning were not what I expected for my graduate career. UW-Milwaukee is ensuring that all of their returning students are educated, through online workshops, on what Covid-19 is, how it spreads, and the proper safety measures that all students/faculty must take. I completed this virtual training at my desk in my apartment, this is where my education will take place for the semester. I appreciate the university for taking this step in public health outreach, but I just hope that students and staff will take the information and guidelines seriously.
