Cor Jesu in Cars

Every Wednesday, for the past 8 years, the Milwaukee young adult Catholic community gathers for Cor Jesu - an hour of adoration followed by Mass. It has only been cancelled twice - when Christmas fell on a Wednesday. In the midst of Coronavirus and all of the Catholic churches being closed with Masses cancelled, they still found a way for us to meet. One chapel in the church overlooks the parking lot. We all parked facing this window, and they did adoration and Mass from the window, so we could all see and participate from inside our cars. They had us conference call in, so we could hear the music and what was being said. It was a beautiful way to keep the community and faith going, even with the church officially closed.
