Business Adjusts to Times

With the high demand of personal protective equipment causing shortages in availability, some businesses in the community have adjusted their production to meet the needs of the people. Michelle Buckhanan, owner of Yarn Junkie and Gifts, a prominent business in the African American community, shifted their normal production in order to produce face masks for those in need with a priority for essential workers. The decorative masks like the one displayed here shows the intersection of protective and stylish equipment.
