6 ft Apart-Voting in COVID-19 Pandemic

Theses images were taken at Riverside University High School voting polls during the primary election on April 7th, 2020. That day, I braved a walk to Riverside Park in downtown Milwaukee, WI to capture the individuals waiting in line for the voting polls. So many expressed that their absentee ballot was never delivered to them and that they were afraid to be in line even with protective masks and gloves on. A lot of individuals took it into their own hands by handing out masks to others who didn’t have one or handing out hand sanitizer and gloves. I felt it was important to capture that moment in time.
