Title

Positive Case Notice

Description

An internal memo that an employee tested positive for COVID-19. It is posted in a common area for all employees to see. It gives the last date the employee worked and lets all employees know that those who may have had close contact with them will be notified and encourages them to continue safe practices, such as continue cleaning and sanitizing of work areas, staying home if sick, properly wearing masks, practicing social distancing, and washing hands regularly. It also encourages employees to get tested if needed and not to report to work till test results are back. It is an internal communication that is meant to notify fellow employees without stating who the person is in order to maintain their personal privacy in accordance with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act.
