The Medical College of Wisconsin receives an award from Advancing a Healthier Wisconsin Endowment (AHW) to help mitigate the spread of COVID-19. Of the 4.8 million dollar that was awarded, 17 specific projects will be directed towards fighting COVID-19, of which one includes reducing the spread of COVID amongst elderly persons with in the African American community.
