PPE (personal protective equipment) has become a necessity during the times of the COVID-19 era. For some African Americans, the use of face masks poses a challenge. In just a few months the false perception of being socially threatening in the past has now become socially normalized. In this photo, the Reid family took an opportunity to enjoy some sunshine outside of their apartment while practicing social distancing and remaining safe.
