The screenplay by Billy Wilder and I.A.L. Diamond is based on the play by Ben Hecht and Charles MacArthur, and was filmed in Technicolor and Pa[na]vision. The Universal Picture about newspapermen in Chicago in 1929 [co]-stars Vincent Gardenia, Susan Sarandon, Allen Garfield, David Wayn[e,] Charles Durning, and Austin Pendleton.
