“The first time Donna climbed the cable ladder to the top of Half Dome the man in front of her was meeting friends who were rock climbers summiting the north face. Observing their euphoria as they summited, Donna decided to make a book about the discovery and first ascents of Yosemite’s Half Dome. This was the first time Donna made a multiple block, color linoleum cut print for one of our books.”
