“A Single Day by Gary Young was printed in celebration of Donna's birthday. It is one poem from Young's larger work, Days. A 22 gauge sterling silver plate, cut and etched with a stormy ocean is mounted on the cover of the deluxe edition books. We used the silver as a metaphor to convey the idea's value, the value of life, and the value of making works of art.”
