“This was the second of the three Aesop’s Fables books we planned to make. It was such a great story we were surprised it didn’t sell as fast as The Man and the Lion. We might have found the answer when someone told us, ‘I’d like to get your book for a friend who collects little books, but what would he think if I gave him a book about a miser?’”
