Plymouth Church has been a fixture of the history of Milwaukee's religious and social life since the 1830s. The church has been located in five distinct locations throughout the city since its founding, and the church has found itself interacting with numerous important social issues in those places. From slavery vs. abolitionism to temperance to contemporary religious and social issues, the members of Plymouth Church have made it a priority to encounter these problems with a distinct Christian mindset.
