A LONG TEAR is a feature film documentary that approaches the complex relationship between man and nature through the analysis and memories of the poet and filmmaker Meztli Suarez Mc-libert.
A troubadour that lives under a tree, a group of environmentalists and North American scientists interested in a great discovery. All of them are the protagonists of stories that arise along with the filmmaker in her search of answers about the touristic transformation of the Lagoon of Bacalar in the south of Mexico.
A long tear is a stimulating research towards the deepest of the memory and explores the unknown face of the development through a personal journey focus on the loss of a landscape reflected as a forgotten, invaded, and distant self-portrait.
