Tiga, one of the greatest painters of Haiti and the Caribbean wants to be a total artist. His name and life are intimately linked to all the contemporary history of Haitian art. He renovated the art of ceramics. He initiated the art of recovery. He worked in sculpture. He composed songs for the choir Simidor. He wrote poems. Out of the mythical Skewer Gallery, Tiga is the one who launched Kalfou and Poto Mitan which emerged some of Haitian visual artists the most prestigious. Tiga is originally from St Sun, an artistic movement that will save folk art folklore.
