Human rights activist Rigoberta MenchĂș Tum, of QuichĂ© Maya heritage, has become widely known as a leadin advocate of indigenous rights and ethnocultural reconciliation, not only in Guatemala but throughout the Western Hemisphere. This is a live recording of the Rigoberta Menchu conference held at the UW-Milwaukee on October 14th, 2005. Menchu speaks to a large crowd regarding the current state of indigenous Guatemalans. The conference is done in Spanish with an English translator.
