This film re-enacts a miners strike in the company town of Siglo XX, using many of the original strikers. I begins with footage of a protest march & a large massacre by the army. It describes the miners grievances and montages of the politicians & military responsible for the repression of various people's movements in contemporary Bolivian history & includes narrative on previous strikes from 1942 to 1965. It's explicit about its leftist politics & is highly critical of U.S. imperialism.
